A Graduation Celebration

Meg is graduating in a week now so her family threw her the most epic party this weekend! There were so many people there, that at one point we could hardly walk down the hallway and you literally had to squeeze by someone to move 2 feet. I am so proud of her for working 2 jobs, going to school full time, and being so focused on finishing out this semester strong. GO MEG!
(some outfit pics from the PARTAY)

We also had a military breakfast a couple days ago and got to visit her dad at work. Its so awesome being up close to the Apaches he flies and getting to see what he does everyday.

 DA BOIZ
DA GIRLZ
(Something about being next to helicopters puts us in a weird 80s hair metal mood. idk)
Fun weekend all around. NBA playoffs started and NHL playoffs are in full effect. Really looking forward to this summer- going to Cali next month and have so much to do before our big date. Only a year away so we need to really start making moves to get this planning in full force.

Any summer goals or trips you guys are looking forward to? Let us know!!!

Waiting...

Graduation in 15 days. Last day of class in 5. It's almost time for summer hangs and Beach boys on repeat. To say I can't wait would be the understatement of the century!

Some random pics of the boy and I..

Off to take care of my sick fiance!

Fair enough.

Saturday was Kyle's little brother's birthday so to celebrate, we went to the Pima County Fair. Going to the fair is one of my favorite memories as a child. The smells of funnel cake and popcorn, eating roasted corn on the cob, riding rides, and winning stuffed animals by popping balloons with darts. This year was a BLAST just like I expected. We went with Kyle's mom and stepdad, his aunt and uncle, trevor [the bday boy] and his GF Michaela, my brother Josh, and Kyle's brother in law Tom.

We ate deep fried sweets [oreos, twinkies, and snickers...oh my...], and the boys rode some crazy, unsafe looking rides. I had so much fun hanging with my future in-laws :) I'm truly lucky to be surrounded by loving family all the time.

Partners in Crime

Even though Meg works at Starbucks, we always find ourselves going there to visit with friends and get drinks almost every day. Not really the bar hopping, fist pumping kind of people, so we like to just chill and enjoy each others company. Its always nice to unwind from a long day with some coffee and hang time with the homies.
My go-to drink is an Iced venti caramel soy iced coffee. Megan never sticks to one thing. I never know with her haha. Shes on a kick of getting lemonade with a bag of tea in it right now though.

Off to go celebrate my little bros 17th birthday! Were going to Oreganos and then the fair with the whole family. Should be awesome so stay posted for some pics soon.

WILKO winebar + eatery

Today I met up with Megan for lunch at Wilko on university and park. University was poppin today with all of the students finishing up their classes and getting ready for summer/graduation. After hitting up a couple stores we ducked in to get some food. We have been trying to eat better so we were looking for somewhere to get a good salad or sandwich. Wilko ended up being the perfect solution.
I got the BLT + T&A. SO GOOD! And it came with a mixed green salad with lemon herb vinaigrette on the side.
Meg got the Mediterranean Salad. She said it was also amazing!

Overall, I really liked Wilko- everything from the open, rustic atmosphere to the simple and well executed food. Our server was nice so the whole package made for a wonderful lunch.
We will definitely be eating there again.
I give it a 4.5/5
